Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Yoga Instructor, you should be an experienced, dedicated and passionate Instructor who will join our team and lead hot yoga classes at our studio. You should possess a strong foundation in various hot yoga practices, with a preference for experience in other yoga techniques. You are responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive environment, guiding clients of all levels through their practice, and fostering a sense of community within the studio. Also, you should lead group classes focusing on flexibility, strength, balance, and mindfulness in heated environments.

Ultimately, you should create a welcoming, challenging, and safe space for clients of all fitness levels to explore hot traditional yoga.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct hot yoga classes in a heated environment, ensuring a structured flow that emphasises flexibility, strength, and mindfulness.
• Lead hot yoga classes that focus on various styles, including but not limited to Vinyasa, Ashtanga or Hatha ensuring that all clients are guided effectively through the sequence
• Provide modifications for clients of all skill levels, ensuring safety while encouraging individual progress
• Develop creative and balanced sequences for hot yoga that flow smoothly and incorporate breathwork, stretching, and strengthening exercises
• Demonstrate poses and provide verbal and physical adjustments to ensure proper alignment and form in hot yoga classes
• Inform participants in various forms of yoga and its effect on body and mind
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where clients feel encouraged to grow in their practice
• Build rapport with clients, offering personalised feedback and guidance to help them achieve their individual goals
• Maintain knowledge of current hot yoga and other trends, techniques, and best practices
• Coordinate with participants and counsel on lifestyle and diet issues to ensure a healthy body and mind
• Assist with class scheduling, registration, and maintaining a clean and organised studio environment
• Promote classes and encourage client attendance through outreach and engagement strategies
• Ensure appropriate ambience for participants to perform yoga exercises

Requirements:

• Certification from a recognised yoga teacher training program (200-hour minimum).
• Experience teaching various styles of yoga (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin)
• CPR/First Aid Certification to ensure client safety in case of emergencies
• Excellent verbal communication to guide classes smoothly and engage clients effectively
• A calm, grounded demeanour that fosters mindfulness and mental clarity
• Patience and attentiveness to help clients of all levels grow in their practice at their own pace
• Strong knowledge of body mechanics and how to safely assist clients in and out of suspended positions
• Art of teaching the Vinyasa Flow
• Knowledge of the Chakra System, Pranayama, mantra and mindful meditation
• Ability to work after-hours, on weekends and public holidays, as needed
• Comfortable working in a hot yoga studio environment with elevated temperatures if needed
• Physical ability to demonstrate both grounded and aerial movements during class

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Yoga Instructor/Teacher: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Required)
