Main Responsibilities :

1. Cut and sew upholstery fabric for yachts.

2. Install upholstery covers and cushions on yachts.

3. Repair and replace upholstery fabric on yachts.

4. Install and secure upholstery attachments on yachts.

5. Inspect, clean, and maintain upholstery on yachts.

6. Develop an understanding of yacht interior designs and layouts.

7. Demonstrate knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials.

8. Collaborate with other professionals to create custom yacht upholstery designs.

9. Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Sewing: Ability to sew a variety of fabrics with a high degree of accuracy.

2. Cutting: Ability to accurately measure and cut variety of fabrics.

3. Finishing: Knowledge of different finishing techniques, such as pleating, tufting, and upholstery

4. Upholstery Fabric Selection: Ability to select fabrics and materials that will best suit the yacht and its intended use.

5. Design: Ability to create custom designs for upholstery.

6. Repair: Ability to make repairs to existing upholstery.

7. Pattern Making: Ability to create custom templates and patterns for upholstery

8. Installation: Knowledge of how to properly install upholstery yachts.

9. Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail when working on upholstery.

10. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and identify solutions for problems that may arise during upholstery.

Qualifications,

2-3 years' experience as Upholsterer in Manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of various upholstery techniques

Ability to use upholstery tools

Focus on the quality of work performed

Creativity and manual skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team

Accuracy and precision in carrying out assigned tasks

Educational background in upholstery (preferred)

Communication skills

Knowledge of upholstery materials and their application technologies
