Typically trains under a Principal Technician-Logging and Perforating to gain knowledge and experience in maintaining logging equipment and tools including some specialty equipment. Requires knowledge of surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment. May assist in radiation record keeping. Visits field locations when needed to help solve equipment technical problems and follows up on equipment repair at headquarters. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquire through 2 years experience as a Technician-Logging and Perforating, or equivalent experience in electronics and successful completion of the Ft Worth maintenance school.Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
