However, all applications will be considered Summary of the job: Ensure effective implementation and execution of policies and plans to direct the growth of Ethicon WC & Biosurgery businesses and to achieve both long-term and short-range objectives. Additionally this job is responsible for building and maintaining a healthy business relationship with our distributors and customers and ensuring that the in- market investment, support and effectiveness required is achieved to establish a solid base of loyal customers achieving strategic products penetration and increase market share for Ethicon business. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for all marketing and sales activities to achieve the business objectives within business policies and guidelines as well as departmental budget. Works closely with Business Unit Director to implement annual/quarterly sales plan and necessary changes required to achieve objectives. Manage different Direct business and distributor needs and support Sales, Marketing and Prof Ed Activities. Closely follow up on Sales, Stocks, forecasting to ensure healthy business. Manage a long-term relationship with partners and update management about any deviation in trends or any updates in market needs. At this level, the position has a greater degree of impact on the business results and typically, responsibility for managing a group of professionals. Interviews, hires, trains and evaluates the performance of the BU team members. Develop successors through setting specific development plans for the sales team. Hire, retain and grow talents This job is not eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions. Manages daily advertising and sales promotion activities. Recommends product modifications or improvements to product line. Provides input for the development of products and anticipates a customer need/solution approach. Develop a network of KOLs through the Country. Develops sales processes and pricing models. Facilitates the attraction, hiring and motivation of market and sales staff. Coaches and mentors subordinates and appraises subordinate performance. Communicates and tracks short and long range sales and marketing plans. Implements marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, sales and marketing programs to achieve maximum sales and profit. Researches new markets and applications for volume growth.
Experience Required University degree in Business/science/Medical or respective studies 12+ years of experience in the Medical devices business management is required 10 years experience wound closure technical experience is a must have Experience managing big team and Leadership experience is a must have Experience in working in Direct business and Distributors Specific competence requirements (professional requirements)
Experience working with quantitative & qualitative Research Experience in new business development Proven track record in developing category strategy & put it into excellence in execution and performance Working experience with Innovation projects, acquaintance with innovation tools & methods Skilled in Word, Excel and Power Point Strong analytical thinking Team player & demonstrate leadership Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills An aptitude for innovation Well-structured, focused & setting clear priorities Proven self-starter with strong initiative, enthusiasm for business, and results orientation.
