Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily workshop activities, ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor tasks for technicians and mechanics to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Diagnose faults and oversee repairs to ensure equipment and vehicles are operational and compliant with safety standards.
• Oversee inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring the availability of critical components.
• Source, order, and manage quality spare parts and components at competitive prices in coordination with the procurement team.
• Provide technical guidance to the team on complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, completed work, and spare part usage.
• Generate periodic reports on workshop performance, costs, and equipment status for management review.
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or fleet maintenance, with proven expertise in parts management.
• Expertise in vehicle and equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
