As Workshop Wellhead Technician, you will play a vital role with our business by ensuring maintenance activities are carried out accordingly and safely to ensure compliance requirements.
As a Workshop Wellhead Technician, you will be responsible for:
Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues. Level 1,2,3 Technical Support \xe2\x80\x93 Resolves post sales Technical Issues. As the technical depth required to resolve an issue increases, the \xe2\x80\x9clevel\xe2\x80\x9d of skill set increases. For some products 1 individual may handle levels 1,2 and 3 while for other products these may be separate individuals with increasing skill sets.
Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
Handles simple project processes. There are detailed guidelines for production and/or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge. A framework of conditions is set.
Handles targeted clients. Contracts are predefined and a framework of conditions is set and followed.
Performing Receiving, cleaning, polishing, inspection, disassembly, Segregation, Repair, Assembly, pressure testing, FIT test, SIT test and housekeeping,
Reading and interpreting Drawing, assembly prints and parts lists to ensure accuracy and quality
Using measurement and gauging equipment to check and verify components
Performing wellhead assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on equipment to ensure safety and reliability
Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out accordingly and safely to ensure compliance requirements
Following up on work orders instructions for repair, assembly, disassembly and pressure testing
Preparing reports for the repaired and Pressure tested equipment
Coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
Being able to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques

To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Services).
Have minimum of 3 years of experience working on Wellhead products, specifically in assembly, maintenance, repair, and pressure testing.
Have knowledge with API 6A standard.
Able to interpret and explain to technicians about Engineering drawing and VGS procedures,
Demonstrate a good aptitude and a keen desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills
Have excellent communication skills and be able to understand technical information and technical drawing in English
Demonstrate a working understanding of Database information Systems
Have the desire to become certified in forklift and overhead crane
Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills.
