Title: Workshop Supervisor : We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our team. As a Workshop Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a passion for driving excellence in automotive maintenance and repair. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop staff, including technicians, mechanics, and support personnel. 2. Assign tasks and projects to team members, ensuring workload distribution and efficient use of resources. 3. Monitor workflow and production schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs and adherence to deadlines. 4. Train and mentor workshop staff, providing guidance on technical skills, safety protocols, and best practices. 5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement. 6. Maintain inventory levels of parts, tools, and equipment, coordinating with procurement to replenish supplies as needed. 7. Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Requirements: 1. Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry. 2. Strong technical knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures, with hands-on experience preferred. 3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. 4. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and make decisions under pressure. 5. Proficiency in using workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and computer software for maintenance and repair tasks. 6. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the automotive industry. 7. Certification or degree in Automotive Technology or a related field preferred.
