Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and transport machinery.

Diagnose mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs.

Conduct inspections to ensure that vehicles meet safety and operational standards.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Collaborate with team members to improve workshop efficiency and service quality.

Stay updated with the latest technology and repair techniques within the industry.

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with vehicle operators regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role, preferably in the transport sector.

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, engines, and machinery.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Relevant certifications or diplomas in automotive technology or mechanics.

Physical stamina and dexterity to handle a variety of mechanical tasks.
