Job Description

This position will be responsible for overseeing operations, production, and business development. The role involves managing precision machining services, supervising manufacturing processes for testing equipment components, ensuring quality standards, and driving company growth while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Production Management:

Oversee the machining and fabrication of precision components for material testing equipment. Plan and manage daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and on-time project delivery. Implement best practices in turning, milling, and CNC machining to enhance productivity. Ensure maintenance and calibration of machining tools and equipment.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in manufactured components. Work closely with material testing laboratories to meet their specific requirements. Oversee quality inspections, material selection, and testing of machined parts.

Business Development & Client Relations:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the material testing laboratory sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with laboratory clients, contractors, and suppliers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitive developments.

Financial & Resource Management:

Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs while ensuring operational efficiency. Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, raw materials, and machinery usage. Oversee procurement and inventory management of raw materials and tools.

Team Leadership & Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise machinists, technicians, and support staff. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in precision machining, CNC turning, or related industries. At least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge of material testing equipment components and machining processes. Experience in the UAE market, particularly in the material testing and engineering sector. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, and machining techniques.

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
