Al Zaabi Autocare is seeking a highly organized and experienced Workshop Foreman / Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive repair industry, with leadership experience managing technicians, schedules, and ensuring top-quality service delivery. You will ensure the smooth running of workshop activities, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management & Leadership:
• Supervise a team of mechanics, electricians, and technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and task allocation.
• Monitor the performance of the workshop staff, providing guidance, training, and support when needed.
• Ensure that all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Workshop Operations:
• Oversee daily operations of the workshop floor, managing schedules and ensuring timely completion of repairs and services.
• Coordinate with parts suppliers and ensure all required materials are available for repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Customer Relations:
• Interact with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles, explain repairs, and manage expectations.
• Ensure excellent customer service by resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Quality Control & Safety Compliance:
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure repairs are performed to the highest standard.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain records of work orders, staff performance, and workshop productivity.
• Provide management with regular reports on workshop performance and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Workshop Foreman or in a managerial role within the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive repairs, diagnostics, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
