Key Responsibilities * To control job flow to skilled technicians maximizing on time completion, while ensuring all resources used are posted to the job card. Provide timely feedback to Service advisor in case any delay in repairs.
To assist management in implementing and maintaining effective processes to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction levels.
To lead, motivate, coach, and develop the team to achieve their daily objectives.
To ensure a strong relationship is maintained with the parts department to maximize parts availability.
To ensure the accurate completion of all relevant documentation for each repair.
To ensure that the manufacturer\'s warranty standards are adhered at all times.
To ensure use of scheduling board to maximize utilization of technicians.
Inspects works being conducted by technicians to monitor progress and ensure that they comply with company standards and estimated completion times are adhered to. Ensure all jobs done by technician are costed in the job card.
Advises and suggests diagnostic and repair procedures as necessary. If required consult Technical Manager for repair solutions.
Test drive if necessary to check that the vehicle is in perfect running condition.
Maintain up-to-date progress on each vehicle under maintenance / repair.
To ensure constant communication with the spare parts department for pending parts.
To monitor repeat repairs and identify possible trends with repairs and report all findings to the Service manager/ Workshop In charge.
Report all equipment failures for immediate repairs to the service manager/ Workshop In-charge
Ensure the workshop and workshop equipment is always kept to a high standard and cleanliness.
To ensure quick processing of PQI and related documents to improve product quality.
To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained in line with the Company HSE
To ensure 5S is being maintained in the workshop
liaise with Quality controllers to provide Fix it right first time
To ensure the department SOP are always adhered.
Any relevant ad-hoc duties and/or relevant special projects may be assigned by the Management.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
(The minimum qualifications, skills and experience needs to carry out job successfully
Graduate in Engineering / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical
3+ year experience as workshop controller with a Motorcycles/Powersports dealer.
Be able to Multi-Task and Delegate
Exceptional Organizational Skills
Exceptional Time Management Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
