About the Role:
Workforce Planning Specialist to enhance our workforce planning efforts. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in leveraging advanced workforce analytics tools and data-driven approaches to optimize workforce, improve organizational efficiency, and drive strategic workforce planning initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of labor market trends, predictive analytics, and workforce forecasting technologies to align staffing strategies with business goals. The Workforce Planning Specialist will work closely with leadership and HR teams to develop data-centric strategies that ensure the organization is positioned for optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Workforce Analytics and Reporting:
• Manage and refine workforce data models and ensure that all workforce data sources are aligned and integrated for accurate reporting.
• Lead efforts to identify key workforce performance indicators (KPIs) and track them consistently to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights, focusing on reducing cost, improving employee performance, and increasing retention.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure workforce strategies align with corporate growth initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on workforce planning and HR analytics, mentoring team members and supporting HR leadership in strategic planning efforts.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations for senior management to communicate workforce insights and drive buy-in for new workforce strategies.
• Workforce Planning & Forecasting:
• Utilize analytic skills to developaccurate workforce forecasts that align with business needs.
• Lead the development and execution of data-backed workforce strategies, ensuring optimal work force optimization across departments.
• Forecast and plan for workforce demand by assessing key drivers such as business expansion, retirements, skills gaps, and turnover trends.
• Data Analysis & Business Intelligence:
• Drive data-driven decision-making using analytics platforms
• Analyze complex workforce data to generate insights on turnover trends, talent gaps, and workforce optimization opportunities.
• Prepare high-level reporting and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting key workforce metrics, risk areas, and actionable strategies.
• Technology Integration & Process Optimization:
• Champion the use of emerging HR technologies, AI, and automation tools to enhance workforce planning processes and improve predictive accuracy.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and software solutions that support workforce planning and analytics.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in workforce planning, human resources analytics, or a similar role, with a proven track record of using advanced data analysis and workforce forecasting tools.
• Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, predictive analytics
• Solid understanding of labor market trends, workforce segmentation, and talent acquisition strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SQL.
• Ability to present complex data insights in a clear, actionable format to senior management.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Certifications:
• SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR, or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Certification in data analytics , business intelligence , or predictive modeling is a plus.
