Deluxe Holiday Homes is seeking a skilled Wordpress Developer to join our IT/Programming department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Web Design, PHP programming and exceptional skills for building websites using Elementor.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Wordpress websites;
• Customizing Wordpress themes and plugins;

• Working with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create and modify website features;

• Collaborating with designers and content creators to ensure website functionality and user experience;

• Performing website updates and maintenance tasks;

• Optimizing website performance and speed;

• Implementing and maintaining website security measures;

• Creating and maintaining website backups;

• Integrating third-party applications and services into websites;

• Creating and maintaining website documentation and user manuals;

• Providing technical support to website users and clients;

• Testing and debugging website code;

• Collaborating with other developers and IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of website components

• Minimum 2 years experience developing new WordPress sites using Elementor. Portfolio samples required.
• Expert in HTML and CSS;
• Proficient with jQuery, strong Javascript skills desirable;

• Experience developing with Elementor, GravityForms, Wordfence, Updraft Plus, Yoast SEO and related plugins;
• Integration with CRM, Email Marketing and other third-party tools and platforms;
• Solid understanding of WordPress data structures and design schema (including the template hierarchy) and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot code- and css-related issues;
• A professional approach, including adherence to WordPress PHP Coding and CSS standards;
• Strong PHP skills;
• Custom WordPress theme and plug-in development experience a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
