Job Description

We are a Facilities Management based company and we are looking for a Wood Polishing Helper with UAE/Gulf experience.

We have currently 1 position and salary will range from 1,000 to 1,100 per month plus overtime. Accommodation and Transportation provided by company.

Responsibilities:
Must have knowledge in to Wood polishing Cleaning, smoothening and polishing furniture and other manufactured wooden articles to required shade and finish using sand paper, filler, polishing compound, etc. Filling joints, knots holes etc. with putty or plaster.

The wood polisher must have knowledge in:

Water-Based Wood Polish
Lacquer Wood Polish
Varnish Wood Polish
Shellac Wood Polish
PU Wood Polish
Oil-Based Wood Polish
Wax-Based Wood Polish
Melamine Wood Polish

• Inspect wood products for defects and imperfections before polishing
• Operate and adjust polishing machines and equipment to ensure consistent quality
• Apply various wood finishing products such as stains, varnishes, and oils
• Monitor and maintain the inventory of polishing materials and supplies
• Clean and maintain polishing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Collaborate with other woodworkers and production personnel to ensure timely completion of orders
• Continuously improve polishing techniques and processes to increase productivity and quality
