As a Wok Chef at Rosa's Thai Kitchen, you will be responsible for:
• Wok cooking: Expertly preparing various Thai dishes using the wok.
• Food preparation: Handling ingredients and ensuring quality.
• Following recipes: Adhering to recipe cards and expanding knowledge of Thai cuisine.
• Wastage control: Minimizing food waste.
• Workstation organization: Maintaining a clean and organized wok station.
• Food safety: Adhering to food safety and hygiene practices.
• Prep time management: Efficiently preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Quality control: Inspecting food items before serving.
• Inventory management: Monitoring inventory levels.
• Operational procedures: Following morning and closing procedures.
• Equipment care: Handling kitchen equipment responsibly.
• Team collaboration: Working effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Adapting to requests: Accommodating customer requests and preferences.
• Continuous improvement: Staying updated on culinary trends and techniques.
