Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable WMS Operator with expertise in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SAP operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing warehouse processes to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency within our warehouse. You will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between warehouse operations and IT, troubleshooting system issues and ensuring inventory accuracy and seamless data flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Warehouse Management System (WMS), with a focus on SAP EWM, ensuring functionality aligns with operational needs.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities within EWM, including order management, goods movement, and inventory transactions.
• Monitor WMS performance and proactively troubleshoot any issues to maintain workflow continuity.
• Ensure accurate data entry and management of master data related to inventory, storage bins, and product locations.
• Maintain documentation and record-keeping for inventory adjustments, inbound/outbound shipments, and internal movements.
• Conduct regular audits to verify inventory levels and correct discrepancies in coordination with the inventory control team.
• Monitor stock levels and adjust system settings for reorder points and stock allocation based on demand.
• Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and IT support teams to address and resolve system-related issues promptly.
• Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on SAP EWM and best practices in WMS operations.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse the internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on inventory levels, order fulfilment status, and system performance metrics.
• Analyze data and report on trends, pinpointing areas for improvement in warehouse operations and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent - and/or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience 3+ years as a WMS Operator or similar role in warehouse management, with extensive knowledge of SAP EWM and general SAP operations.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in SAP EWM and general SAP modules related to logistics and inventory.
• Strong understanding of WMS processes, including inventory control, order management, and goods movement.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, data entry, and record-keeping practices.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively between warehouse staff and IT teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of best practices in warehouse operations and experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WMS and SAP EWM systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends, or overtime as needed to support warehouse operations and meet business demands.

Base salary. To be discussed with candidates with proven skills in the course of an interview
