POSITION SNAPSHOTLocation: Dubai, UAE - Sheikh Zayed Office locationCompany: Nestl\xc3\xa9 UAE LLCPOSITION SUMMARYNestle is currently hiring a WHO Code Compliance Manager to based out of the UAE overseeing the countries within our Coastal Cluster. This role will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of compliance activities following Nestl\xc3\xa9 Policy & Instructions, the WHO Code and local legislation. It will also be responsible for ensuring alignment and compliance with the FTSE4Good verification criteria for both Nestle Infant Nutrition and Wyeth Infant Nutrition teams..A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Assist the Code Compliance Manager MENA to ensure compliance with WHO International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes, Nestl\xc3\xa9 Policy and Instructions, WCMS and local legislations at market level.
  • Act as a first validating and approving point for Code Management System request forms (Conference Sponsorships, Healthcare Professionals Sponsorships and Donations) for NN in an efficient and timely manner for Coastal Arabia and signing-off field activities, to ensure their compliance with Code Management systems and Local laws.
  • Act as a first validating and approving point for Marketing, Products labels, trade materials for NIN, WIN and Nestl\xc3\xa9 Nutrition Institute in an efficient and timely manner in Coastal Arabia .
  • Implementing the yearly Compliance Trainings (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) for Nestle Employees, distributors and third parties and Communication process in Coastal Arabia as aligned with Code Compliance Manager - MENA.
  • Participate in compliance Reviews as per the Compliance review plan for the region to ensure fulfillment of compliance requirements and FTSE4Good readiness in line with Code management system through conducting risk assessment, support with business sound recommendations and report to Code Compliance Manager - MENA on duly basis.
  • Responsible for taking immediate actions on reported violations, after agreement with Code Compliance Manager - MENA, and coordinating the actions with Coastal Arabia stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinates and assists in the market readiness for internal and external (FTSE4Good) audits.
  • Fully responsible for ensuring the closure of gaps identified by the FTSE self-assessment as well as by any NMA, NGA or Bureau Veritas audit
What will make you successful
  • At least 2-4 years experience in dealing with audit, compliance and legal related field and experience.
  • Has regional experience and travel extensively (50-70% of time) in visiting regional markets.
  • Managed independently under challenging/demanding market environments and political scenes to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Audit and legal experience is a plus
  • Arabic an advantage
