The Wellness Manager will create, monitor and deliver programs intended to maintain and improve the physical, emotional and mental health of AUS faculty, staff and the greater AUS community using preventative means that provide measurable results. The role will oversee the Wellness facilities, ensuring annual maintenance, accurate record keeping, and user compliance with policy and procedure.
Job Responsibilities
Managing the department\'s budget, as well as managing, ordering and organizing all required equipment.
Supervising all Wellness coaches, lifeguards and hourly staff.
Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Wellness facilities and programs, including the Leisure Center and Tennis Center, two outdoor football fields and community-wide events.
Managing service contracts with external suppliers and contractors.
Designing and implementing a timetable of events for the community in collaboration with other Employees Services departments.
Planning and delivering adult wellness classes.
Creating reports for higher-level administration.
Approving all requests (store and non-store).
Monitoring the online booking system, including lighting systems and support Wellness team with the bookings
Qualifications and Skills Required
Bachelor\'s degree in sports science or related industry certified qualifications
Two years\' corporate wellness experience
Experience of exercise management and exercises classes
Experience of designing and coordinating community events
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team and independently.
Self-organized, efficient and reliable
Adaptable to new environments and cultures
Flexibility regarding working hours
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Personal Training Level 3
Supervisory experience in a wellness-based facility
