Job Description

SPAR Steel seeking a Welding Supervisor / QAQC. This role requires someone who has experience in a similar environment, where they are leading continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining OH&S standards and driving quality standards in conjunction with a daily production schedule. Core responsibilities of this role will include:
• Provide quality control and welding supervision for both site and workshop works;
• Promote and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures;
• Ensure best trade practices are performed in accordance with the relevant welding standards and specifications;
• Ensure all QA/QC inspections and testing is performed in accordance with the relevant Quality Plan;
• Maintaining Company Standards for Quality Assurance purposes;
• Manage the welding and QA systems.

• Experience in a similar role;
• Ability to read technical drawings;
• Thorough understanding of International Welding Standards;
