Job Description
Job duties and responsibilities
• Capable checking welding specifications for a job and ensuring the correct equipment and materials are being used for welding
• Capable of inspecting completed welding and assessing the quality and strength of completed welding.
Job qualifications/requirements
• At least 10 years of relevant industrial experience, including 6 years' experience in a given inspection specialty, 4 of which have been in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• Preferably candidates with a high school graduation or equivalent.
• Candidates should be fully conversant with applicable industry standards and specifications and should be able to perform a variety of complex inspection functions with minimal supervision.
• Pipeline welding (automatic/manual welding) experience is a must.
