Job Description
of Welder / Fabricator
• Read and interpret sketches, and specifications.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on material.
• Operate fabrication and welding machinery including powered equipment.
• Cut, bend, and shape metal pieces according to specifications.
• Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products.
• Inspect and test completed products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain and repair fabrication/weding machinery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure projects are completed according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 2 to 3 years or more in same field.
