Job Description

The Welder will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate, repair, and maintain gas and LPG systems, including pipelines, tanks, and other related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards specific to the gas and LPG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick welding) on gas and LPG systems and components.
• Fabricate and repair pipelines, tanks, pressure vessels, and other related equipment.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, preferably in the gas and LPG industry.
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to various weather conditions, depending on job sites.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
