Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. The welder will ensure high-quality workmanship while following safety guidelines and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding tasks on various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, ensuring a solid and clean weld.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine weld requirements.

Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting materials as necessary before welding.

Inspect welds for quality, strength, and finish, performing testing when required to ensure compliance with standards.

Repair or replace defective parts by welding or reworking metal components.

Maintain and care for welding equipment, tools, and machinery.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metals, and fabrication methods.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy materials (if required).

Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to work in compliance with them.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.

Experience with specialized welding techniques (e.g., pipe welding, robotic welding).

Previous experience in the relevant industry (e.g., automotive, construction, or manufacturing).

Work Environment:

Full-time position.

Work in a workshop or construction site environment.
