Job Description

:

As a Weigh Bridge Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate weighing of incoming and outgoing materials. You will ensure that all materials are weighed correctly, recorded accurately, and that all procedures are followed according to company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the weighbridge equipment and systems to weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Accurately record and document weights, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain and update the weighbridge log and related documentation.
• Verify the accuracy of weight data and ensure no discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, plant operators, and other relevant personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of weighbridge equipment.
• Ensure the weighbridge area is clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience as a Weigh Bridge Operator or in a similar role within the cement or related industry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with weighbridge software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to the cement industry is preferred.
