Job Description

As a web designer, you will be responsible for creating the visual aspects of websites, including layout, typography, color schemes, and user interface (UI) elements. You will work closely with clients or stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into appealing, intuitive, and functional website designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Creation: Develop website layouts and user interfaces using HTML/CSS, or through visual design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Graphic Design: Create graphics, icons, and other visual elements to enhance website design and user experience.
• Collaboration: Work with clients or project managers to understand website goals, audience, and functionality requirements.
• Responsive Design: Ensure that websites are visually appealing and functional across different devices and screen sizes.
• Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes for testing and review, and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Maintenance and Updates: Collaborate with web developers to implement designs and ensure technical feasibility.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continually improve design quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset to propose innovative design solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a web design role or related field.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development frameworks.
