Job Description

The City Vet Clinic is seeking a talented and experienced Web Designer & Developer to join our team. This role will focus on enhancing our online presence, managing and developing websites, and overseeing e-commerce platforms, including online shops on platforms like Amazon. You'll work closely with our marketing team to ensure an intuitive, seamless, and visually appealing digital experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development & Management:

• Design, develop, and maintain The City Vet Clinic's websites, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement website content updates, SEO enhancements, and UX/UI improvements.

E-commerce Platform Management:

• Set up, customize, and manage online shops on platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.
• Optimize product listings, manage inventory integration, and ensure smooth online purchasing processes.
• Implement e-commerce best practices, including security protocols, user journey optimizations, and conversion tracking.

Design & User Experience:

• Create visually compelling and engaging designs that align with the brand's identity.
• Ensure a mobile-friendly, user-centered approach across all digital platforms.
• Stay updated on web and e-commerce design trends, proposing new ideas to enhance our digital presence.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Conduct regular site audits, identify issues, and provide quick solutions for web-related concerns.
• Monitor website performance, security, and usability, implementing changes as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Web Designer & Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating web and e-commerce projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Amazon, and WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and basic knowledge of digital marketing tools.
• Design Proficiency: Strong graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and an eye for detail.
