Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Watchman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be in charge of maintaining the safety and security of the premises, monitoring the area, and ensuring that all activities on-site adhere to the safety protocols. The Watchman will also assist in monitoring surveillance equipment and conducting regular security checks.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and surrounding areas. Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems for unusual activities or security breaches. Record and report any suspicious activities or security hazards to management. Ensure that gates and entrances are securely locked when not in use. Assist in controlling access points by checking identification and issuing visitor passes. Respond to alarms or emergency situations and take appropriate action. Assist in the investigation of any incidents or breaches of security. Maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities. Report any damage, vandalism, or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities or management. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols on-site. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a security guard or watchman is preferred. Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends. Basic understanding of surveillance equipment and security systems. Strong attention to detail and alertness. Good physical condition and the ability to patrol large areas on foot. Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm during emergencies. Trustworthy and responsible with a strong sense of integrity.
