Duties & Responsibilities • Developing the project planning and Controlling.
• Managing assigned individual contributors in various departments (Production, Installation, Operation and Maintenance and Projects to ensure the completion of work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Review and Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets, Plan effective strategies for the finances of the Projects.
• Strategic Input - Liaison with Management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. In addition, implement and manage Project operational plans.
• Communication - Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as I.T., H.R., Accounts and Finance. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
• Risk Management - Oversee organizational policies. For example, ensure health and Safety committee meetings are held and tasks assigned.
• Planned, organized and support project management and status review meeting.
• Provide strategic oversight, coordination, and maintenance of identified projects
• By managing day-to-day activities, analyzing statistics and reading and writing reports.
• To ensure that Project requirements were gathered and analyzed by the projects department. Responsible for defining the project management structure and overseeing teams of specialists.
• Open to direction and Collaborative work style and commitment to getting the job done
• Ability to look at situations from several points of view
• Facilitate projects across operations that align with company goals.
• Evaluates current systems and procedures for continuous improvement
• Continually updating Management regarding progress & areas in need of improvement
• Prepares periodic written reports for Department Managers regarding project status and keeps Senior Managers informed of project direction, and renegotiates direction as necessary.
• Makes presentations regarding project direction and recommendations to Senior Department/Division Managers.
• Prepare and check the basis of design, specification, technical bid evaluation and drawings.
• Mobilize goods and services to initiative activities, including drafting and work specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation of standard operation procedures
• Ensure that operational objectives are measurable and specific
• Monitor events as determined in the Monitoring & Communication Plan and update the plan as required.
• Providing the required leadership at various construction levels.
• Identify, suggest and implement corrective action to improve quality.
• Monitoring key Staff for the quality and timely execution of the project.
