Job Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a team, and the capability to implement and improve processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.
• Ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Monitor and manage warehouse layout and space utilization to optimize operational efficiency.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
• Implement and manage inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and prevent loss or damage.
• Forecast inventory levels and manage replenishment to meet business needs.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse workers, supervisors, and administrative personnel.
• Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed.
• Process Improvement:
• Analyze warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Address and resolve any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
• Customer Service and Communication:
• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations or order processing.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers.
• Budget and Cost Management:
• Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and maintenance costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality or service.
• Technology and Systems Management:
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other related technologies.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all systems and reports.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory levels.
• Use data to make informed decisions and improve warehouse performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Warehouse Management: 5 years (Required)
