Event Souk is a leading company in the event furniture rental industry and the trading of various products. It has been proudly operating in the UAE for the past 10 years.

We are searching for a dynamic and innovative warehouse manager to oversee our warehouses located in DIP1.

Responsibilities:

1.

The warehouse manager is responsible for managing inventory levels at the optimum level, ensuring stock counts are accurate, and planning efficient storage solutions to accommodate space utilization.

2.

Ensuring seamless operations within receiving, picking, packing, and shipping that will ensure the speedy movement of goods and shorter delay times.

3.

Leading hiring, training, and managing staff in the warehouse, delegating duties, and creating a culture of teamwork and accountability.

4.

Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out, including labelling of all stock items.

5.

Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements.

6.

Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the accreditation standards in line with the quality systems.

7.

Ensure that health and safety meets the required standards and that risk assessments are carried out.

8.

Establish and oversee purchasing, operational, and replacement strategies for cost-effective operations.

9.

Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and Plan future capacity requirements

10.

Possess the ability to entirely restructure the warehouse by installing various types of racking and shelving systems, as well as implementing a barcoding and labeling system throughout the entire facility.

11.

Capability to engage with suppliers, services, and warehouse solutions designed to enhance operational and delivery procedures and policies.

Skills & qualifications:

Organizational Skills:

He should acquire the skills to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain the associates of a warehouse, which is a dynamic environment.

Communication

: Written communication skills to deal with people and others inside the organization, suppliers and other stakeholders, giving instructions and solving their problems instantaneously.

Problem-Solving:

Flexibility, quick thinking, problem-identifying, and problem-solving competence that, to a greater extent, involves workflow optimization or addressing logistic issues that vary from one place to another.

Adaptability:

Adjustability to dynamically flow, likeably changing demand or unexpected events within the supply chain.

Leadership:

Effective leadership characteristics to uplift and mobilize the teams, establish the right environment for consistent improvement, and maintain team unity towards goal attainment.

Technical Proficiency:

Warehouse management system experience, innate inventory control software skills and general tech tool exposure with the PMR that result in smooth operations and increased productivity.

Attention to Detail:

Precision in shipping and handling is achieved through the tracking of inventory record accuracy during order fulfilment, the management of regulatory standards, and the help of AI and automation.

Experience and other requirements:

A UAE manual driving license is required.

Over 5 years of experience as a warehouse manager in reputable companies in the UAE.

Must be proficient in both English and Hindi.

Candidates should possess a technical background in painting, woodworking, steel fabrication, and electrical systems.

Candidates must be willing to work additional hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Furthermore, individuals should be prepared to relocate to a location close to the warehouse to ensure their availability around the clock, every day of the week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
