Job Description

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for operating a company vehicle to pick up and deliver products to customers. They will load and unload the truck, as well as verify orders against invoices. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and be able to lift heavy objects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring the correct handling of items to prevent damage.
• Deliver goods to various destinations, such as customers, retail stores, or other warehouses.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries, considering traffic and weather conditions.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure the truck or delivery vehicle is in good working condition, including checking fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards with the vehicle to the maintenance department or supervisor.
• Adhere to all road safety rules, company driving policies, and legal requirements to ensure safe driving and compliance with regulations.
• Ensure that deliveries are made within the scheduled time frame, providing updates when necessary.
• Properly handle and transport sensitive or hazardous goods, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and safety guidelines for such items.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• With valid driving license
• Good verbal communication
• Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with local routes around UAE and the ability to navigate efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations calmly.
• Ensure that employees are picked up and dropped off at the designated locations, such as the warehouse, job sites, or other locations as per the work schedule.
• Ensure that the vehicle used for employee transport is kept clean, organized, and in good condition.

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
