Responsible for organizing all aspects of daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory movements, efficient use of space, issuing, dispatching to locations, facilities, and housekeeping Responsibilities:
Lead inbound activities from suppliers and local transfers with proper documentation, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of goods.
Plan and coordinate daily inbound schedules to optimize efficiency and meet production demands.
Manage physical inventory of raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, components, and spare parts, including organizing storage areas for easy access and retrieval.
Support daily and weekly cycle counts, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and reconciling with computer stock to identify discrepancies.
Verify receipts against L.P.O and invoice, prepare Material Receipt Reports, and promptly address any shipment issues or defects to maintain inventory accuracy.
Conduct regular physical inventory checks of galvanizing, spare parts, and finished goods, and identify non-conformance issues for resolution.
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment through regular audits, housekeeping activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Implement and enforce 5S principles to optimize organization, efficiency, and safety within the warehouse.
Ensure adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management principles to minimize waste and product spoilage.
Coordinate with transporters for inter-warehouse transports, including scheduling pickups, and deliveries, and ensuring proper documentation.
Before start of work ensure that, there is no hazard in your area of work or in the surroundings. Report to your supervisor immediately incase you observe presence of a hazard (A source of potential damage or Injury).
Qualifications:
level: Minimum High School
Minim. 5 years experience in manufacturing/logistics company handling the store and warehouse activities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and practices.
Must be a flexible team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated abilities with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook and inventory management software.
