Job Summary

A Junior Transport Coordinator managing construction laborers is responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of workers to and from construction sites while coordinating logistics efficiently. Here's a breakdown of key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Transport Scheduling

- Organizing pick-up and drop-off times for laborers while ensuring minimal delays.

Vehicle Coordination

- Managing the availability and condition of transport vehicles.

Attendance & Roster Management

- Keeping track of laborers' attendance and shift timings.

Route Planning

- Optimizing travel routes to avoid delays and reduce fuel costs.

Driver Coordination

- Communicating with drivers to ensure timely transportation.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensuring laborers follow transport safety guidelines.

Issue Resolution

- Handling transport-related complaints, delays, or breakdowns.

Cost Monitoring

- Keeping transportation expenses within budget.

Liaison with Contractors & Site Managers

- Updating them on transport-related matters.

Skills Required:

Basic knowledge of logistics and transportation. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage a workforce and handle on-ground challenges. Problem-solving skills in case of transport issues or delays. Familiarity with local transport regulations.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
