We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our properties maintenance division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring quality service delivery, and optimizing resources to achieve company goals. You will work closely with the maintenance team, vendors, and clients to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, contractors, and administrative staff.
Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance schedules and reactive repairs.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and training as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all operations.
Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Oversee budget planning and management, including cost control and resource allocation.
Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and services.
Collaborate with clients to understand their maintenance needs and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance and financial metrics.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in property maintenance or facilities management.
Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve operations.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to property maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification in facilities management (CFM) or related field.
Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI).
Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy efficiency initiative
