We are seeking a skilled waitress for our prestigious client in Muscat, Oman. The role involves taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and enhancing the dining experience with patience, a friendly attitude, and persistence. Responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed menu information, managing front-of-house duties, and handling bill payments. Responsibilities:

Greet and escort customers to their tables.

Present the menu and provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies.

Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.

Inform customers about the day's specials.

Offer menu recommendations upon request.

Upsell additional products when appropriate.

Take accurate food and drink orders using POS software, order slips, or by memory.

Verify customers' IDs to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverages.

Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.

Serve food and drink orders.

Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, and report any issues.

Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.

Deliver checks and collect payments.

Transport dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.

Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations (e.g., parties).

Adhere to all relevant health department regulations.

Provide excellent customer service to guests.

Requirements

Requirement:

Proven experience as a waitress

Hands-on experience with cash registers and ordering systems

Basic math skills

Attentive and patient with customers

Excellent presentation skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a knack for thriving in a fast-paced environment

Active listening and effective communication skills

Team-oriented

Flexibility to work various shifts

High school diploma required; food safety training is a plus

Benefits

Duty: 9 hours per day 6 days a week (with one hour break)

Age must be 30 yrs old maximum Gender: Female only

Nationality: Any Nationality but Filipino preferred
