We are seeking a talented and experienced European national Waitress to join our renowned hospitality team in Kuwait. Responsibilities: Welcoming Guests: Greet guests as they arrive and create a positive first impression of the restaurant. Seating Arrangements: Manage the seating chart and ensure guests are seated promptly and in accordance with their reservation or walk-in status. Reservations Management: Handle reservations, including taking calls, confirming them, and managing any changes or cancellations. Managing Wait Lists: If the restaurant is busy, manage the wait list effectively, providing accurate wait times to guests. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns and ensuring their comfort. Communication: Coordinate communication between the front of house and back of house staff, including informing servers about guest seating and special requests. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the entrance and waiting area clean and organized. Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the menu, specials, and wine lists to answer any questions guests may have. Handling Payments: In some establishments, be involved in processing payments or handling checks when guests are ready to leave. Team Coordination: Work closely with the management team and other front-of-house personnel to ensure smooth operations. Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings, to provide recommendations. Taking Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring to clarify any special requests or dietary restrictions. Serving Food and Beverages: Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's high standards. Maintaining Table Settings: Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout the meal, including refilling water, clearing plates, and providing additional utensils or condiments as needed. Wine Service: Provide knowledgeable wine service, including recommending wines, opening and serving wine properly, and answering questions about the wine list. Requirements: Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Proven experience working as a waitress in a premium dining or luxury restaurant setting. Knowledge of Fine Dining Protocols: Familiarity with fine dining etiquette, including serving, table setting, and guest interaction. Strong Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
