Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring all items are prepared and presented according to hotel standards.
Respond to guest requests and ensure any special dietary requirements or preferences are communicated to the kitchen.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued.
Food and Beverage Knowledge:
Be knowledgeable about the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens, to answer guest questions.
Suggest food and drink pairings or upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Ensure all beverages are served to the guest's satisfaction, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while following responsible service protocols.
Table Maintenance and Cleanliness:
Set up, clear, and reset tables for new guests, ensuring all tableware, glassware, and utensils are clean and properly arranged.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area, including service stations, side stations, and dining areas.
Ensure that tables and seating areas are maintained throughout the meal, providing refills and clearing empty plates or glasses promptly.
Guest Satisfaction and Problem Resolution:
Anticipate guest needs and be proactive in addressing concerns or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
Communicate any guest feedback or special requests to the management or kitchen staff.
Handle guest inquiries with a positive attitude, ensuring a resolution to any issues and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
Collaboration with Team Members:
Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to ensure orders are correctly prepared and served promptly.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up dining areas, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
Support colleagues during busy periods, ensuring smooth service and team cohesion.
Cash Handling and Billing:
Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and handle cash or credit card transactions securely.
Ensure that all transactions are processed in accordance with hotel policies and that any discrepancies are reported promptly.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management Or Equivalent Degree
Opera Software, Win cloud knowledge
Minimum 6 months to one year of experience
