Job Description

Job Role: To be responsible for serving food and beverage to guests. To ensure personalized, courteous and friendly service to all guests in a gracious and professional manner in accordance with management standards/procedures. Display proactive hospitality through positive personality with both guests and co-workers. Take pride in all facets of your service to include quality, appearance and cleanliness for yourself and your outlet. Smile is to be a part of the uniform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction and strive for perfection and excellence. To ensure regular guests are recognized and acknowledged by calling them with their family name. To be informative, friendly, communicative and professional to the guests, but do not be over friendly. To know daily specials, promotions and run out items. To set up the outlet according to the set standard and ensure all your tables are aligned and set as per standards. To ensure that guest set up is placed according to their food orders and extra covers are removed. To ensure that the correct methods of service are performed in a sequenced manner as per the standards/procedures. To respect requirements of host guest. To maintain 100% accuracy of guest orders and it's delivery on time. To approach and interact guests with confidence and ease. To keep serving station tidy at all times. To have flexibility in monitoring multiple tables. To coordinate food pick up with kitchen and monitor food and beverage quality. To follow procedure as trained for guest orders, write neatly and clearly on the guest check, double check your order. To be responsible for generating KOTs and checks in the Micros. To be fluent in operation of micros POS system. To prepare mise end place for the following shift, set up for next guest/ shift To follow cashiering procedures, report problems immediately to your supervisor. Prepare guest checks, charge vouchers and receive payment (cash, credit card or room charge) and post in micros on time, in the case of in-house hotel guest, check the name, room number and post the check to the room account. To close the micros at the end of the shift and count the collected cash and credit payments. To prepare the remittance of funds and send the collected to the drop box safe To secure and arrange the cash float for money exchange. To keep outlet manager informed of any suspicious circumstances or irregularities. To fill associate side duties checklist in coordination with the captain / supervisor. To fill out breakage reports when needed. To control wastage in outlets- misuse and breakage of china, glassware, linen, and other guest supplies. To monitor the outlet bulletin board. To display 'Spirit to Serve' To share ideas, innovations and solutions. To be familiar with building fire evacuation and emergency policies and procedures, especially in regard to your work place. To handle outlet assets and all equipment with utmost care and maintain in best conditions. To follow hotel timekeeping procedures has to be present 15 minutes before scheduled starting time, on request work split shift, work any days including weekends and public holidays and do overtime as requested in accordance with H.R policies. To have a complete knowledge of all food & beverage menus / wine lists and other food and beverage products in details and be able to advise guests accordingly. To attend team-building and -communication meetings. To follow the lost and found procedure. Maintains a high standard of hygiene and grooming (uniform, name badge, hair, nails, wearing of jewellery and make-up etc.) as stated in employee handbook. To ensure that outlet is kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house. To comply with the "clean as you go" policy and ensure immediate pickup and cleaning of spillage or breakage. T o dispose waste as per specified allocation. "To ensure that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations Torespect the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used To apply the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc) To appplyregulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages To respect the hotel's commitments to the ""Environment Charter"" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc) and meets ' ISO 14001 environmental commitments as applicable to the role, if the hotel is involved in the programme."

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Vocational qualification in food & beverage and/or any initial training, as long as the person is highly motivated by the sector and that his/her level of commitment and skills have been validated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,400.00 per month
