Job Description
:
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Filling in for absent staff as needed.
- Communicate to the guest and provide assistant with their queries.
- Make sure to enter the special requirements made by the guest while ordering the food: no garlic, less spicy etc.
- Co-ordinate with the bus person, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and beverage to the guest as per the course of order.
- Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food & service.
- Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering item, fulfilling customer needs.
- Offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Understands and can communicate available products and services.
- Help other areas such as answering telephones and taking take away or delivery orders.
- Proven 2 - 3 years of work experience as a Waiter or Waitress, or a similar position in the Hospitality Industry.
- Attentiveness to the customers.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
- Flexible work hours.
- Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
