WAITER AND/OR WAITRESS

Our client, a family of unique food concepts that are built on sustainability and delicate culinary excellence who operate premium international brands including FERDI, Philippe Chow, Beef Bar, Novikov, and more, apart from amazing local brands well known for their authenticity and original Kuwaiti taste, is looking for energetic and dynamic Waiters and Waitresses to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional service to high-end clientele in an upscale dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in 5-star hotels, excellent communication skills, and a polished appearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greet guests and present menus, making recommendations based on their preferences. - Take accurate food and beverage orders, enter them into the system and ensure timely delivery of orders. - Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. - Provide exceptional customer service and anticipate guests' needs to ensure a memorable dining experience. - Answer guest questions about menu items and provide recommendations when necessary. - Respond promptly and courteously to any guest requests or complaints. - Handle cash and credit card transactions and ensure accuracy of payments and change given. - Maintain a clean and tidy dining area, including tables, chairs, and table settings. - Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after service. - Work closely with other members of the team to ensure efficient and effective service. - Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous experience as a waiter in a 5-star hotel or upscale dining establishment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - Polished appearance and professional demeanour. - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Very good English, with the ability to speak additional languages preferred. - Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, wine and cocktail service, and food pairing - Ability to work well in a team environment. - MUST have worked or CURRENTLY works in any EUROPEAN country (relocation provided)
