JOB OBJECTIVE As a waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to restaurant guests. Your primary role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome guests as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
Politely and accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring to note any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately, ensuring that each guest receives the correct items and that presentation meets restaurant standards.
Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any specials or promotions. Make recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
Keep the dining area clean and organized, including clearing tables, resetting utensils, and ensuring a tidy appearance throughout service.
Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and handle cash and card transactions securely. Thank guests for their patronage and invite them to return.
Anticipate guests\' needs, address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, and ensure that guests leave satisfied with their experience.
Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to coordinate orders, ensure efficient service, and maintain a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
