Qualifications :

2 years experience as a Waiter or similar position in a 5-star hotel.

Has the ability to communicate effectively in English, Arabic knowledge is an advantage.

Has strong will to work very flexible hours and has the ability to work under pressure.

Has basic knowledge in Food & Beverage and etiquettes.

Has basic knowledge, system operations such as Micros and Hotlync (or similar systems).

Key Job Responsibilities:

1\. Report to duty on time.

2\. Collect Keys and Cash Float.

3\. Switch on sound system on proper level.

4\. Switch on the Micros and check the printer and Print Rolls.

5\. Switch on lights as per service period requirement.

6\. Flip up all cups and glasses on the tables from evening mise en place.

7\. Check all restaurant MEP and table layout.

8\. Adjust table MEP when necessary.

9\. Pick up fresh Juice and Milk from the Kitchen / store.

10\. Switch on plates warmer to medium setting.( If available)

11\. Place condiments on the hot line.

12\. Set the side station with breakfast MEP.

13\. Set side station with Lunch MEP.

14\. Set side station with Dinner MEP.

15\. Check all sugar bowls on the table.

16\. Check all fruits preserve holders.

17\. Check all salt and pepper.

18\. Check the Expiry Dates and Labeling of Fresh Juices and milk in the service fridge and fill up the Fridge Temperature Record.

19\. Switch on coffee machine and refill coffee beans.

20\. Deep clean coffee machine as trained.

21\. Prepare back area coffee station, including cups, saucers, tea pots, milk pot and saucers.

22\. Realize all basic coffee specialties, espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, Turkish.

23\. Brew coffee depending on instruction from log book.

24\. Collect villa occupancy list from front office.

25\. Collect newspapers and display at the entrance of the restaurant.

26\. Check that all bill folders are clean, with a resort pen and correct flyers inserted.

27\. Check PAR of linen and collect to laundry if necessary.

28\. Check PAR of fresh butter and raise an order.

29\. Attend all daily line ups.

30\. Attend all communication meeting.

31\. Attend all departmental training.

32\. Clean the Baby Chairs.

33\. Provide a professional welcome experience.

34\. Greet and seat the guests at the table offering chair assistance.

35\. Remove the extra covers if necessary.

36\. Takes guests' orders, making suggestions when required.

37\. Answer questions regarding the menu.

38\. Repeat the order to ascertain if correct.

39\. Punch the order in Micros.

40\. Set condiments on the table in accordance with guest order.

41\. Upsell any additional order.

42\. Replace cutlery as required.

43\. Provide silver tray service for beverages.

44\. Report any complaint or disappointment to the person in charge.

45\. Clear the dishes when all the guests at a table finished.

46\. Ascertain guest satisfaction.

47\. Present bill to the guest with correct items and applicable discounts if any.

48\. Get to know your guest and address every guest by name.

49\. Always maintain a genuine smile and eye contact with guests.

50\. Clear tables using a tray.

51\. Polish cutlery and glassware.

52\. Collect beverage store request from the store.

53\. Follow back area cleaning procedure.

54\. Follow check list for opening and closing duties.

55\. Follow grooming procedures.

56\. Report lost and found to the person in charge.

57\. Report any breakage to the person in charge.

58\. Report maintenance issues to engineering and inform the person in charge.

59\. Follow all hygiene procedure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,300\.00 - AED1,500\.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
