Job Summary:

The F&B Waiter is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests in a restaurant or hospitality setting. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for customers. The ideal candidate should have a customer-centric attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
• Present menus, provide detailed information about menu items, and answer customer queries about ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
• Ensure guests have a positive dining experience by providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit.
• Respond promptly to customer requests, and handle complaints or issues professionally.
• Order Taking & Serving:
• Take food and beverage orders accurately from guests and communicate them to the kitchen staff or baristas.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and in a professional manner.
• Ensure all orders are prepared to guests' satisfaction, and check with guests for any additional requests.
• Table & Area Management:
• Set up tables before service, ensuring that silverware, glasses, napkins, and other necessary items are clean and properly arranged.
• Clear and clean tables after guests have finished, and reset tables for the next seating.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, ensuring a neat and tidy environment.
• Payment Handling:
• Present bills to guests, accept payments (cash, credit cards, etc.), and provide accurate change if needed.
• Process transactions through the POS system and ensure proper documentation for accounting purposes.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely service.
• Assist other team members as needed, particularly during busy periods, to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Formal training in hospitality or food service is an advantage.
• Experience:
• Prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or similar F&B setting is preferred.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays of food or drinks.
• Salary: AED 1800 - 2000
