The Role

This role offers you strong visibility across the organization. As an executive, you will be responsible for managing the firm\'s financial operations and ensuring that the firm is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations around the world. Your duties include overseeing the firm\'s accounting, treasury, administration, and financial reporting functions, as well as managing the firm\'s relationships with financial institutions and outsourced legal and other professional service providers. You will be the lead on driving legal, compliance, tax and structuring matters and projects for the firm.

In addition, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting Group financial results to the Board on a quarterly basis.

What we are looking for

Our Management Team is looking for a VP of Finance, who is UAE based with 10+ years of relevant experience. An ideal candidate would have had prior experience in a family office, real estate or private investment firm and the opportunity to deal with the complexities and nuances of investments in various asset classes and over various jurisdictions.

We value individuals who demonstrate initiative, business thinking, discipline, resilience, clarity in communication and genuine passion for attention to details in support of investment opportunities.

The candidate must have a university degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. An MBA is a plus.

To be considered you must demonstrate:

• Relevant certification such as CPA / CFA are strong positives
• Education and work experience in Europe/USA is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 3 being in senior Accounting/Finance roles
• Previous experience and responsibilities dealing with matters such as legal, structuring, compliance, tax, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
• Knowledge of performance tracking of asset portfolio through dashboards and KPIs.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand performance drivers
• Effectively prepare reports and present results to the Board
• Combination of business and financial management capabilities is highly preferred
• Highly organized, meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills and ability to work with diverse teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
