:ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a dynamic and driven VP Commercial to grow the business in MEA. The purpose of this role is to build and develop new growth opportunities, ensuring profitability and a consistent focus on quality service. The VP Commercial MEA will have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the overall trajectory of our business in this region. You will be responsible for:
Owning the revenue/profitability targets, and results reporting/forecasting on a regular basis (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
Owning the markets growth strategy and leading its implementation through visionary leadership
Driving customer excellence through effective business relationship management
Designing and implementing a product-centric, local, business development strategy in line with the overall group strategy, ensuring delivery is as per global mission
Develop and cultivate productive relationships with key stakeholders in the Business and act as the key point of contact for all customer related queries, ensuring targets are achieved
Identify and expedite opportunities to up/cross-sell new solutions; seek opportunities to enhance the value proposition and drive revenue/margin realisation
Continually assess the market/industry remaining vigilant for insights and opportunities that enable us to act fast and offer proactive solutions
Owning the relationship with mobile operators, growing existent business and continuously looking for new opportunities to increase revenue
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Content, Finance) to design and implement differentiated and profitable solutions
Requirements:ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the business in the most profitable direction while implementing its long-term business goals. You will be insanely focused on data and highly analytical. You will need to have exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. Candidates needs to have Telco experience. Other qualifications include:
Proven Leadership experience within a dynamic organisation
Candidate should have an excellent network within Telecom Operators in Europe
Educated to Degree level or similar in Business, Finance or Economics is preferred
Demonstrable experience developing strategic business plans, that when implemented drive change
Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
Background in digital technologies, Video, Games or programmatic platforms would be desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English is essential and the local language is a distinct advantage
Ability to commit to travel about 30% of the time within the regions and also (where necessary)
