Job Summary: Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) is a Major Command of the United States Air Force and is also the air component command of the United States Indo-Pacific Command. PACAF/A6 provides communications and information capabilities. Specifically to deliver communications and information strategic direction, policy and resources for PACAF units. The primary responsibility of this position will be to design, configure, and maintain Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services, including VoIP and VoSIP devices, and support the migration of services and servers to enterprise platforms. All support shall be performed IAW DoD, DISA, and AF instructions. Essential Functions: Provide support to users utilizing Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity. Manage and maintain analog fax lines, voicemails, Auto Attendants, phone setup, and alarms/alerts. Design and configure user facility IT infrastructure to support voice and video. Support the migration of services and servers to enterprise platforms. Provide technical guidance to installation systems personnel on automated data telecommunications systems, equipment procedures, and techniques. Troubleshoot and configure CUCM and equipment. Review and validate understanding of customer design requirements as well as recommended process changes. Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches. Advises on all matters involving the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment and Authorizations (A&A) and day-to-day security of mission and business systems. Advises and guides customers in the implementation of security controls, doctrine and policies. Configure equipment, respond to error messages, execute available diagnostic routines, and monitor system status. Perform software functions and translations for any add, move, change, delete, query of a circuit or system data, service order, trouble assistance, records administration, and call usage documentation. Knowledge Skills and Experience: 5 or more years' of relevant experience supporting all VoIP and VoSIP hardware, software, system utilities, error messages, and troubleshooting. IAT-Level II Certification desired Maintains currency of required trainings and certs. Must possess a valid US passport TS/SCI Clearance
