Overview:

As a Photo and Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing visual content to meet the needs and specifications of clients or the organization you work for. This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, design principles, and proficiency in relevant editing software. You will collaborate with creative teams, photographers, and videographers to enhance and transform raw footage into compelling and visually appealing final products.

Responsibilities:

Editing

:

Edit and enhance photos and videos to meet the desired quality and style.

Cut, splice, and synchronize video footage to create seamless and engaging final products.

Apply color correction, filters, and other enhancements to optimize visual appeal.

Creative Collaboration:

Work closely with photographers, videographers, and creative directors to understand project requirements.

Collaborate with other creative professionals to ensure a cohesive and visually consistent final product.

Software Proficiency:

Utilize industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools.

Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in editing software and techniques.

Quality Control:

Conduct thorough reviews of edited content to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.

Make necessary adjustments based on feedback from clients or creative teams.

Organization and File Management:

Maintain an organized system for storing and archiving raw footage, edited files, and project assets.

Ensure efficient and effective file management to facilitate collaborative workflows.

Deadlines and Time Management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Prioritize tasks based on project timelines and urgency.

Communication:

Effectively communicate with team members to understand project goals and expectations.

Provide regular updates on project progress and address feedback and revisions promptly.

Continuous Learning:

Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and emerging editing techniques.

Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and stay competitive in the field.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Film Production, Graphic Design, Multimedia) or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience as a Photo and Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects.

Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.

Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and design principles.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Immediate Joiners are Preferred

UAE Experience is a must

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with audio editing and sound design.

Understanding of various video formats and codecs.
