Job Opportunity for the role of Video Engineer
Role & Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain video equipment, including cameras, video switchers, and audio-visual systems. Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless video capture and transmission during live events and studio recordings. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Configure and calibrate cameras and video equipment to achieve the desired visual effects and image quality. Monitor and adjust video parameters in real-time during live broadcasts to maintain optimal quality. Collaborate closely with directors and producers to execute their creative vision. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of video equipment to ensure functionality and reliability. Coordinate equipment repairs and manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely service.
Education & Skills: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Video Engineer or a similar role in video production. Strong technical skills with expertise in video equipment operation and troubleshooting. Proficiency in video quality optimization and camera operation. Familiarity with video editing software and post-production workflows.
