In terms of our business, we help connect lawyers to their dream firms, and use our in-depth understanding of the legal market to help lawyers in London find their dream role. Our clients are some of the most prestigious law firms from the USA and the United Kingdom.

Position overview

As a Video Editor at Law Ladder, you will be responsible for editing, cutting, and assembling raw footage into polished, final videos that align with our brand's voice and goals. You will work closely with our creative team to produce content for a wide range of platforms including social media, websites, advertisements, and internal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye, technical expertise in video editing, and an understanding of digital content trends.

Key Responsibilities

dit raw footage into high-quality video content while maintaining brand consistency. Collaborate with directors, producers, and content creators to understand the vision and goals for each project. Incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to enhance video content. Ensure all videos meet deadlines and technical specifications. Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously and deliver on time. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, video editing software, and best practices. Maintain an organized archive of project files and footage. Assist in brainstorming and concept development for new video projects. Optimize video content for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

Requirements:

Proficiency in video editing software (cap cut) desirable, but what is more important is a can do attitude. Strong understanding of video production workflows, including color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability. Knowledge of digital video formats and optimizing for different platforms. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
