MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As the Vice President of Institutional Sales at Arboris Capital Limited , you will be responsible for driving the firm's growth by expanding relationships with institutional investors and family offices. Your primary focus will be on promoting and placing alternative investment products, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and real estate funds.
In this strategic role, you will leverage your deep understanding of investment banking and alternative investments to connect sophisticated investors with curated opportunities. You will utilize your robust client network to enhance Arboris Capital's fundraising pipeline and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver bespoke financial solutions tailored to the needs of institutional clients across the GCC region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management
• Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors and family offices.
• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's institutional client base.
• Serve as a trusted partner by understanding client investment needs to promote and place alternative investment funds aligned with client objectives.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and investment activities in the Company's systems including CRM.
Investor Identification and Engagement
• Identify UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional clients as potential investors in alternative investment opportunities.
• Conduct outreach campaigns to build relationships with targeted client segments in the GCC region.
• Organize and attend meetings with clients to discuss investment opportunities and placement strategies.
Presentation and Promotion
• Deliver clear and compelling presentations about feeder funds and alternative investments to professional clients.
• Prepare and utilize marketing materials to support sales efforts.
• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and expected performance without offering financial advice.
• Represent the firm at conferences, roadshows, and investor meetings to showcase
Deal Execution and Closing
• Facilitate the onboarding process for investors, ensuring smooth transitions from interest to commitment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate documentation, agreements, and transaction finalization.
• Track progress to ensure that client commitments align with placement targets.
Market and Product Knowledge
• Stay informed about trends in private markets, alternative asset classes, and investment products, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and real estate funds.
• Regularly update knowledge about GCC investment preferences, competitive products, and regulatory changes.
• Work with internal teams to continuously refine and expand investment offerings.

Compliance and Reporting
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements under DFSA, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide regular updates to management on placement activities, investor feedback, and key performance metrics.
Collaboration and Team Support
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on pipeline development and client activities.
• Leverage data and insights from the CapGain platform to optimize outreach and engagement.
• Work with marketing to develop client-focused materials and campaigns.
• Mentor and guide junior relationship managers.
QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Proven track record in managing HNWI and family office client relationships.
• 8+ years of experience in institutional sales, investment banking, or wealth management with a focus on alternative investments.
• Network of clients in the target coverage market is required, specifically the Middle East
• Deep understanding of alternative investments including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and hedge funds.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
